- Have you recently (or within the last three years) completed a conservation/restoration project in ceramics, glass, or some related material that might be of interest to others in the profession?
- Did it present some interesting challenges, technically and/or ethically, perhaps requiring a bit of lateral thinking?
If
so, why not apply for the Nigel Williams Prize 2014!
The
Winner receives £1000, together with a “virtual”
presentation of a gilded ceramic copy of the Portland Vase
(kindly donated by Wedgwood and kept on permanent display in the
Museum).
A
Secondary Prize of £400 may, at the judges'
discretion, be awarded to any application considered to be a close
runner-up.
A
Student Prize of £250
will be awarded for the project judged to be the best of those
completed while the applicant was still a full-time student.
